I've been inspired by watching Todd Barton's video demonstrations of the Buchla Easel. Todd is a Buchla expert. He's a great communicator and has a fresh and imaginative approach to patching modular synths. He's probably best known for coming up with the famous Krell patch, a modular reinterpretation of the Krell song from the sci fi classic Forbidden Planet.

I was fascinated to learn about the Buchla Easel, and the way it was designed by Don Buchla to be a performance instrument. I have an embryonic modular synthesizer but it got me thinking... what elements and design ideas could I take from the Easel and Todd's patching and use with my own system...

Brilliant constellation of modules and very creative use of the SQ-1. Bravo. And thanks for the shoutout 🙇‍♂️
