Thank you for this video. I'm a relatively new crocheter and saw no need for front loop or back loop stitches as it was too hard to make them work for me. Now I can see that they work well for other stitches. I've also not seen using the slip stitch to start a new color before. Subscribed.

Thanks for this tutorial! Just wondering if there is any reason why you start the new yarn/colours on the opposite end to where you cast off the previous row? Thanks!

Thank you for the great tutorials! I have a question. I am doing a pattern where this method is used. When I join the new color with a slip stitch, does that count as a stitch? Or should I chain one on top of it to be my first stitch? The entire pattern is single crochet (amigurumi).
