what if Column B has filters and you only want the visible cells to be changed to values? I don't want the hidden cells formula to be messed up. Please help.

Is this do able with a formula. Just because I dont want to have to copy and paste. Instead auto generate as a value into another cell?

How do you grab the result or value of the formula but keep the formula in place?

How can that be made automatically and not manually as you did?

What I mean, let's say you want to create another column with the names and not the formulas, but if you change the names, you would like values in the copied cells to change as values not as formulas?

In your case, let's say I want to copy the values alone from B2, B3... to column J as J2, J3... but in column J they should appear as values alone, not formulas. The method of typing in J2 the following: =B2 doesn't work. It thought gives names, but in form of a formula and not in a form of a pure value.
