Thanks for bringing this up man. I have used it one few occasions but the main issue have always been the inability to utilise the OIS.

All of this can be solved if Samsung would bring back full manual controls or Pro controls for video and I don't mean their past video controls but video controls like what LG has. Ever since I started using LG phones I stopped using filmic Pro because LG has their own full set of manual video controls even for audio.


If you've never messed with an LG V-series phone, you really should.

They have all the necessary controls for making content or even smartphone movies.

Thanks for the video. Everything I've been reading was an issue with the Galaxy s20 phones and not the Filmic Pro. The same issue occurs when using DJI MIMO app with their gimbals. It limits to 4k 30fps.

I end up just using my Gimbal with the Native s20+ app to get 4k60FPS. What a damn shame.

I've read in places and heard on some YT channels that with the latest Samsung S20 Ultra with the Exynos Chip inside of it has many more camera functions than the Snapdragon Chip with the Filmic Pro App.

I own the note10+ and I purchased the S20ULTRA and I purchased the 5g for it, I subscribed to your channel and i will be watching listening and learning what I can from you from here on out, but if you had bought the S20ULTRA you would have a total 180 degree complete spin to the force of the jedi, but you most likely didn't see and research the specs of the three models, if you read this when your done please go to Google browser search engine and do a 3 to 5 minute sig into the S20ULTRA you don't have to add or do the 5g with it and if you buy the top model of the three stated you then can choose between 128gb 256gb or 512gb, i personally just purchased the 128gb and rather than paying 150 to 200 dollars more for the 256gb and 500 more for the mind blowing 512gb, I just took 60 dollars and bought me an 128 gb micro SD extreme pro (brand is SanDisk), please look into it because I assure you that the s20ultra is not the s20 nor s20+ and it kills the note 10+ for which I have as well as the S20ULTRA also, I hope you find this comment and I hope we may then speak further, stay safe out there and I hope to receive a response to my comments thanks!

It's like chasing tail with FilMic Pro. They were nice in refunding my money. It's not entirely FilMic Pro fault but Samsung locks them out of parts of the software.

Can You make comparative camera LG G8 vs G8s please ?
I'm from Europe... and for my market is only G8s for sale, but i can buy on amazon sua or ebay :) (LG G8 Thinq).


I have G7 Thinq now (lg fan).
I want to upgrade to G7. I take pictures with the ultra wide camera in general and I do not know if the G8s is better than the G7. At G8 I see that it is better than at G7.
I am interested in the day. I do not know how to handle G8 with f / 1.5 day compared to G8s with f / 1.8.
At night it is clear that the G8 is a winner.

Samsung does allow the S20 to use 4K 60p in it's native pro app. Which looks to be a strategic move on the part of Samsung.

That's weird😳 I use my S20 on Filmic Pro, and I'm able to run 4K in 60 fps. Now, I've had Filmic Pro on my phone for a long time, and when I got it I only had to pay once. Maybe it's from when they made people pay monthly? Some crazy changes?

Man that sucks. Maybe they haven't updated it yet for newer devices running the Snapdragon 865 yet. I'm sure there will be an update to support the 865 soon. You should definitely check back later and see if any changes were made.
