Just so everyone knows I was 15 when I made this video, so don’t expect me to know every little detail on how to drive a stick.

This was a lot more straightforward than the videos made by guys who drive sports cars

The reason you wait is to give these glow plugs time to get electricity from the battery and glow orange. They heat up a tiny little area to help the compressed fuel-air mixture ignite especially on cold days.

It doesn’t matter that you were 15! Clear instructions. Thanks

Currently daily a tdi 5spd manual but gonna be moving into a 03 silverado manual. Never drove manual truck so just here to see if there is anything different. Much better than all the videos by sports car guys. Straight forward to the point. Amazing sounding cummins brotha. Love to hear more of it

I learned to drive a standard when I was about 12. My family lived on a farm out in the country.

Im a GM truck guy, and I'll probably go for an Auto (which is more common on the S-10s and Sonoma's than manual) but this was helpful, I actually have my driver's Ed book I have to read so I can get my permit thanks for the help man

Whenever you said you had to warm up the engine or whatever you said I actually didn't know that cause whenever I start my 98 ford f-150 it would crank for like 3-4 seconds then die but whenever I let the battery run for a couple seconds it actually worked

Yo we got the same truck. Very helpful as I just inherited it and have yet to drive a manual truck. I've driven a '76 Jeep in manual.

Ok if you want to save yourself money never "power shift" the clutch is meant to be engaged and disengaged when entering and exiting gears when you rip it out of gear without engaging the clutch you will destroy your transmission, you'll probably be smelling it soon
