The Bumper Jacksons - 'Come All You Virginia Gals'

Fold sounds of jazz, early blues, old-time music, and country swing into an exhilarating repertoire of modern American roots music. Frontwoman Jess Eliot Myhre (clarinet, vocals), and Maryland-born fellow song-crafter Chris Ousley (guitar, vocals) joined forces to form the group’s core. The other Bumpers add texture, depth and soul—Alex Lacquement (upright bass), Dave Hadley (pedal steel), Brian Priebe (trombone), and Dan Samuels (drums). The group released its new album Too Big World at The Birchmere in July 2015.
