Anyone else notice how these look nearly identical to the Sony MDR-1000X, right down to the carrying case having the strap accent? They even fold in exactly the same way, have exactly the same cup shape and headband shape.

It's kinda like how Samsung bought Harman then decided to just brand their earbuds in the box as "tuned by akg" lol even though they really don't sound that much better than their older headset.

I may be in a minority but i think these are excellent mobile use headphones. Noise cancelling performance is excellent, sound is decent, build quality good and they can be bought for a lot less than Bose and Sony headphones with similar noise cancelling performance.

I think all the shortcomings and weird design choices of these headphones can be tracked to one reason: they're made for laymans, and laymans mostly don't care. These sound better than their earpods or their "gaming headphones" and that's amazing to them.
