In today's video I talk about the process for legally changing my name, why it took so long and so tips and advice on how you can have a more successful time than I did.

IDENTIFICATION TYPES:
Proof of Photo Identification:
- Australian driver licence or learner permit
- Australian passport
- Australian firearm licence.
Proof of Operation in the Community:
- Medicare card
- Credit or ATM card
- Marriage/Divorce certificate issued in Australia
- Change of name certificate issued in Australia
- Student or tertiary identity card
- Australian security card or crown controller licence
- Department of veteran Affairs card
- Working with children check.
Proof of Address:
- Australian driver licence
- Utility account, Rates notice
- Centre link concession card
- Bank statement
- Current tenancy or lease agreement
- Superannuation fund statement.

☼ Yeah it's a mine field. I got different quals under different names. Bad Idea. I know other people who took their maiden name after a divorce, then tried to get a visa and quals transferred: nightmare.
