This is absolutely beautiful. I'm English and I have been learning Gaeilge for a few months and I could understand quite a few words. I used to live in Ireland for over 3 years so I have a lot of love and respect for this country and language. I don't know what it is about listening to Irish being sung but it gives me a buzz and makes my heart happy.

I’m speechless, brought to tears never have I heard my fathers language like this, my son will love this. He is young and eager to know his Gaelic heritage. Thank you for finding a medium to bridge the cultural, lingual and generational gap that separates native born and those wishing to honor their heritage.

This is how you encourage and support the revival of a language. I know of a few places across the world who think a language police is the best way to do it'. These teens will grow up with an even greater appreciation for their heritage. Such raw talent, too! Beautiful.

I live in America....my great-great grandparents came from Ireland.  This song was done beautifully by Shannon and everyone in this video. Just absolutely hauntingly beautiful.   Wish I knew how to speak Irish (Gaelic) as my great-great grandparents but proud to have Irish in me.

This Irish American from Boston that only speaks English, says that this is THE BEST version of "Hello" that is out there. I spent about 3 hours listening to them all here on Youtube. I seen Adele live and seriously this is much better and more beautiful even if I'm Irish, I don't understand a single word. Everyone in this video is beautiful and it really shows through the language of music.
