I Investigated the US - Canada Weird Border / Where Secret illegal underground tunnel was found

People, today I will show you how people live on the border where they even have buildings that are part in the United States, part in Canada. I’ll show you where you can cross the US border without even a passport, and where you’ll have to undergo a very thorough border check.
Today I will show you how people live in one of the most unusual spots on our planet, on the border of the United States of America. Right now, I’m on the Canadian soil, and across the water that island over there is the American soil. It’s very close, for example. I feel the rain drizzling now and over there, you can see it pouring from the cloud real hard, I can even hear the thunder. This area is fitted with a mind-blowing number of surveillance devices, and border agencies patrol the area all the time and generally keep watching each other very closely despite the fact that they don’t really have a physical border between the countries.
This is Lyadov reporting to you on how people live on the border between the USA and Canada.

Grew up in metro Detroit and spent many days fishing on Lake Saint Clair. You can run a boat from the US to Canada in 5 minutes in many areas. It is a strange border because there is almost no way to truly secure it across the entire northern border which is mostly woods and water.

Check out St. Pierre and Miquelon, two tiny islands south of Newfoundland that are 100% the territory of France, but in Canada. They even elect their own representative to the French legislature.

Ross Lake also in BC is an American lake, but the only way to get to it is through Canada up the Skagit. The road was washed out in 2021, I am not sure if it is repaired yet or not? Either way it is a beautiful American park tucked away at the end of an old logging road in Canada.

Lauren southern did a great video about the us Canada border aswell, well worth a watch.
Some of the footage she captured of people turning up in cabs, crossing the border with a mass of matching suitcases and then claiming asylum in Canada, it's pretty crazy to see.

Wow you went to Point Roberts. I wish I knew, I live 20 minutes away on the Canada side in Richmond. Hope you had a good visit.

Funny thing is I've had more trouble returning to Canada from the US as a Canadian than crossing into the US. They're always friendly at the Pigeon River crossing and are sharp with common sense. I will say the last time I came back into Canada I was even able to crack a joke but not all the cbsa agents are personable like that. They may treat me differently on either side because I live in the area.

I drove through Canada as a US Soldier going to Alaska. Don't have your USGI standard capacity magazines, etc. in your Uhaul truck. Send it in your household goods or get rid of it, legally.
