100 years ago today, Walt Disney Animation Studios was founded. For the next century, they would go on to produce 61 animated films, 2 television series and over 500 animated short films.

I hope that Walt Disney Animation Studios will create more Korean (South Korean) fairy tales in the future! Korean traditional stories have so much potential to be reimagined in the Disney style. Examples like "Heungbu and Nolbu", "The Fairy and the Woodcutter", "The Tortoise and the Hare", "The Dangun Myth", "The Golden Axe and the Silver Axe", "Shim Cheong (The Faithful Daughter)", "Kumiho", "Princess Pyeonggang" and more could blend well with Disney's magical and moral themes. It would be amazing to see these Korean fairy tales shared with the world!

If Astro Boy were re-created as a Disney animation, it could lead to truly exciting results and bring a fresh take on this beloved character.

If Disney had a Disney Classic Channel, then this should be its logo and Disney should play classic Disney Channel shows and cartoons from the 1980’s to 2007 and movies from the 1930’s to today and the Steamboat Willie Whistle would be the commercial logo music.
