Fun addition, in Finnish his name "Aimo" means intensifier/large/decent. Like "aimo annos" means large portion of for exanple food.

This actually isn't his entire story. Before being injured by the landmine, he found an old abandoned shack in the middle of a forest. The shack was built out of wood but had a dedicated fireplace made of stone, but he was so balls high that he up and made a fire right in the middle of the wooden floor and falling asleep next to it. As the fire spread, he recalls having to wake up several times to scoot a bit away from the growing fire then fall back asleep. By morning he was outside and the shack had been burnt down.

And for days (or maybe weeks?) after eating all that pervitin he was absolutely mad delirious. He recalled several times that he "woke up"; whether while making pine cone tea, or just walking around the forest, he all of a sudden realized that for the past hours or days he was on autopilot and couldnt control what he was doing, or had no memory of what he did up to that point. It was almost like realizing you're in a dream, but for him it was real life.

He also did mad psychological warfare on the russians pursuing him. He often just ski'd through small russian camps at high speed then dashed outta there as the russians were shooting at him.
