I also love the VGO gloves. I work in the garden department at Home Depot and use a fresh pair every day. At the end of the day, I put them in the dirty close hamper and wash them together in the washing machine, weekly . I do not put them in the dryer as they will not last as long.

I always use full leather gloves from the hardware store one size larger as the prickly weeds always puncture fabric part of the rubber gloves.

looking forward to your new book release. I tried 6ml. vinyl gloves this year and have surprisingly been able to reuse, multiple times, every pair even with rough use.

Thanks for the advice. I'm always taking off my leather gloves to pull small weeds and it's so hard on the hands. I just purchased 15 of these gloves and hope they work as well as you say they do. I'll keep the leather ones for working with my chainsaw. Love your channel!

Do they also stand up against thorns and stinging nettle? I can't find gloves that hold up against these kinds of plants

Hi Robert! Your video is wonderfully informative! I too am glove resistant as I love soil/plant contact, however I’ve suffered quite a bit replanting and repotting cactus such as our native Opuntia humifusa as well as terrarium/ indoor pot cactus and good grief even using tongs and gloves is disastrous! I am wondering if you think these gloves would be adequately protective for this endeavor as I am looking for a non-leather vegan style. Thank you in advance if you are able to respond. Be well and happy gardening!

I wear 2 different gloves lol. I wear a heavy-duty glove on my left hand for the hard stuff, and I get a bunch at the dollar store to wear one on my right hand for when I need to do more gentle work and need to be able to somewhat feel what I'm doing. I have so many right-hand heavy gloves & left-hand cheap gloves lol, I can't seem to get comfortable switching them round to use the other way.

Thank-you, Robert, I really enjoy your very practical videos! I would love to hear about your red-handled pruners. Every year I set my green-handled ones down and have to search for them. This year my husband had to use our son's metal detector to find them so I have vowed to buy a brightly coloured pair, that work well, before next pruning season. I would really appreciate your best recommendation. :)

Thanks for the info on the gloves. I will try to remember to use your link for my future purchases. I have one small request if you don't mind. I am just about to purchase some clematis seeds on the internet. Can you tell me how long most varieties take to germinate? Thanks a lot.

Kind of sad, touching the dirt is what releases endorphins. Look into walking bare foot
