For anyone interested, I typed up a list of all the phrases mentioned in the video and thought I'd share it.

5 Phrases to make you sound like a pro
確かに(たしかに)– true/indeed
適当に(てきとうに) – half heartedly/ without much mare
とり合図(とりあいず) – in the meant time/ anyway
そういえば – speaking of which, now that you mention it
了解です(りょうかいです) – roger!

Must-know expressions for agreeing and disagreeing
賛成できます(さんせいできます) – I agree
賛成できません(さんせいできません) – I don’t agree
いいねえ – Sounds good!
間違いありません(まちがいありません) – No doubt about it
その通りです (そのとおりです)– Exactly
– I was just going to say that
それは違います (それはまちがいます)– You’re wrong
多分ね (たぶんね)– Maybe
どう思いますか?(どうおもいますか?) - What do you think?
もちろんです – Of course!

If you judge by other factors too: use ようだ

ようだ sounds more sure

If you simply see that a teacher is talking to students:

If you try to talk to her and get no response, as well as seeing her talking to students:
先生は、忙しいよう

I just wrote all that down so now you don’t have to úwù
