【Religion in Japan Part1】Why Japanese people say “I’m not religious”?

I often see and hear the question “Why Japanese people say “I’m not religious”? from people from abroad, but I’ve never investigated it. I feel there is no custom to think about religion in Japan. This was a really good opportunity to face our religion. I hope you guys enjoy this video!

I'm learning English through video production about the history and culture of Japan. Please give me your feedback about my English and the contents of my videos.

Thank you for the videos! I’m interested in Shinto, but as a Westerner the Japanese concept of practicing a religion without being religious is new to me. If I may ask, if you pray to the Kami, do you feel they are listening, or is it just a customary act?
