Oh Cass. I have the same feeling. We lost our 3 year old dog all of a sudden last week. I'm still crying. This made me look at things differently. Being a Lego collector, I decided to sell it off. Sorry to hear about your cat (and truck test). There with you. My cat passed away, my husband lost his job, and my biggest client shut down operations. Needless to say, it's a stressful time, especially around Xmas. But we're definitely all still fortunate in so many ways. Hope things get better for you 💙

Poor Mr Bojangles. I'm in the same boat as you but I've been in a low since Jan 2023, with health issues breaking my ankle, car issues, breaking my foot, cat sickness, grandpa dying, grandma diagnosed with Alzheimers, cat dying etc. its been a lot. My Christmas gift to my siblings every year is a donation to a charity in their honor - I usually choose a charity everyone can get on board with, like ending hunger, etc - my sibs love this and they feel good about the money being spent on someone else who really needs a gift of food or other necessities.
