I'm happy to know that you will create the official AH64 campaign with Baltic Dragon. It will rock !

Working with George is one thing, but when you go into multiplayer and have an actual human in the front seat (or back seat) it changes everything. My buddy actually brought his game rig over to my house because I have super fast internet where I live. We got on a multiplayer server and flew the Apache. It was crazy fun. With him in the same room and we could just talk to each other like we were watching a football game and is a level of realism that you cannot get even with voice over Discord or just regular phones. And with very low latency with my service it was almost instantaneous interaction. I would say "...look to your right, see those trees in front of that warehouse? I saw a truck drive behind that treeline, lets go get him." Then he would start looking and setting up the attack while I maneuvered for the right shot. Our lethality doubled. It's a fun way to spend a Saturday

It must be exciting for Casmo to finally be able to drive an Apache through situations he's never had to deal with in the real thing. You can really put it through it's paces, even if it's not as realistic. I'm super envious.

One thing that I really appreciated about the Comanche was that it was trying to do sensor integration to take the convoluted approach out of all this stuff. Different sensor and sighting modes, different fields of view, different zoom levels, different polarities. It was all seamless and largely automated in the Comanche. I'm surprised that technology hasn't trickled down into current systems as they were doing it nearly 30 years ago.

The Hornet of helicopters, that's exactly how I described it to someone when I worked on them as a engineer

These are great Casmo, keep em coming. Wag's preview videos are very cut and dry. They lack a lot of context and as such confuse rather than enlighten, but after watching your explanations things are really much easier to grasp.

Wish there was some Viper pilot doing vids like these for the Viper, Hornet also ;D thanks for info Casmo!

Can’t wait to watch you tear stuff up in the Apache. It’s been awesome seeing it happen in the other aircraft but this will just be different.

I'm really looking forward to learn from You not just some tips&tricks about Apache systems, but mainly tactics, coop with wingman, just how to move this beast around the battlefield and be efficient enough.

Out of all the DCS aircraft that we already have AH-64 looks more like A-10CII of helicopters, Hornet feels simpler

"Warheads on Foreheads ..." made me smile, CasmoTV

Meanwhile, I'm already imagining the helmet fire I'll get to experience while trying to operate this thing solo. I am unironically looking forward to it.

I feel like the best way to learn this will be to jump in the cockpit and just start pushing buttons to see what they do. Come to think of it... that's how I've learned all my modules!

As usual Casmo your insight is really appreciated!

It looks like a serious puzzle in getting controls bound to work right with all the different systems and controls in the Apache.

Looking forward to seeing mission tutorial videos from someone with your perspective.

Correction: This is the A-10 CII of helicopters.

I personally find the systems management and HOTAS arraignment in the Hog to much more complex than the Hornet.
