Now if someone with some money and an rv just sitting around rusting would give it to this man, I'd be REALLY impressed. Imagine what he could do with that! Love it.

i met Terry at a wheatsville co-op near my apartment complex. I saw him working on his home in the parking lot and when i got to talking to him, he told me about his plans for his house, showed me his make-shift tools and told me about his story, about how he lost his home. when I asked if I could help him in any way he just asked if I could get him a can of coke from the store and so I did and he was very thankful for that cold can of coke, as it was a hot summer day, I dont know how he was out there working diligently in that heat. hes a very kind and ingenious fella. if you ever meet the guy, atleast buy him a can of coke. Im sure he'd appreciate the kindness.

I lived in my tiny Scion tC but surprisingly it had lots of space (Thanks to Toyota designers). I ranger rolled all my shorts, tees, socks and boxers all stuffed int a rucksack. Air refreshed and detailed my car right after waking up. Showered at gym did my cardio everyday 7am. Worked 6 days a week at a Firestone and now I rent a room and got my own SnapOn toolbox/repair bay at a dealership. Being homeless sucks but as long as you're clean, healthy and hard working you won't have to resort to building a tent on top of your beater 🔧

Ah yes. This is what a blessing looks like in America.

This story is not inspirational its actually pretty tragic. The fact that no one wants to talk about the housing crisis in America is the real story.

How is this street legal? You'd think he'd build a trailer to tow behind the car, not put a bunch of weight on top of it. How the hell is a mechanic supposed to get it up on a lift, or even onto a car jack, when it needs tires and stuff? There's no way this could be safe. A car is not meant to have that kind of weight on the top. If people really want to help, they should get him a real shelter that is actually safe.
