0:02. We begin in the 1900s.
0:09. The Ottoman Empire entered WW1.
0:14. Egypt lost their Ottoman support privileges by Britain.
0:19. The Ottomans invaded Suez while Britain and British Raj stopped their advance.
0:27. Islamic insurgency in Egypt, while Britain and Italy managed to stop this.
0:35. Egypt and Laurence Arab rebels built railroads.
0:40. Britain and Laurence Arab rebels pushed the Ottomans to Damascus and won WW1.
0:47. Many people riot the Cairo streets for independence.
0:52. Britain accepted Egypt's independence and left the region while still having troops in their territory.
1:02. Egypt and Howard Carter discovered King Tutankhamen's tomb.
1:12. Egypt offers southeastern Libya to Italy.
1:20. WW2 begins.
1:30. Egypt was doomed as Italy invaded.
1:38. Battle of El Alamein.
1:50. WW2 ends.
1:52. Egypt along with others formed the Arab League.
1:59. The British Palestine split into two; Israel and Palestine.
2:02. Egypt joins on Palestine's side, but that ended in failure.
2:09. The UN introduced an act of armistice of Israel's independence.
2:16. Farouk I suffered a coup d'tat and the monarchy ended.
2:20. The Kingdom of Egypt became the Republic of Egypt.
2:28. Nasser came to power.
2:34. Egypt ordered the British soldiers to leave the country.
2:40. Sudan gets their independence and Egypt removed all claims in the country after an Egyptian man was killed by a British guy.
2:49. Egypt lost their support in the west while Egypt gets more Eastern support.
3:00. Egypt obtained the Suez Canal from the British.
3:11. Britain and France were pissed about this so they asked Israel to take it.
3:17. The Suez crisis and 1956 Israeli war (As I love to call it) began.
3:26. Soviet Union asked Israel to stop advancing.
3:28. The UN and USA told Britain and France to pull out of Suez to prevent a larger war.
3:36. The UN sets a buffer zone separating Egypt and Israel.
3:38. Nasser focused more on socialism and unity between Arab nations.
3:47. Syria merged with Egypt to form the United Arab Republic.
3:53. West Yemen became a UAR protectorate.
4:00. UAR joined the Non-Aligned Movement.
4:03. The UAR split.
4:12. Egypt joins East Yemen in their war with West Yemen.
4:19. The 6 Days War begins.
4:27. Egypt closed the Gulf of Aqaba.
4:34. Israeli planes dropped bombs on Egyptian aircraft preventing their air force from getting into the sky.
4:44. Israel advanced greatly in Suez, West Bank, and in Syria in just 6 days.
5:10. Israel won the 6 Days War.
5:15. Nasser passed away and Sadat gets his power.
5:25. The UAR became the Arab Republic of Egypt.
5:28. Egypt lost more of Soviet support and got more of Western support.
5:37. Egypt, Libya, and Syria formed the Federation of Arab Republics.
5:45. The Yon Kipper War began.
6:09. The UN settled the situation with peace talks and established another buffer zone.
6:19. A border dispute between Egypt and Libya provokes a war.
6:25. That war caused the FAR to dissolve.
6:34. A peace treaty is signed as Sinai being returned to Egyptian rule and Israeli recognition from Egypt.
6:50. This treaty shocked the Arab League and Egypt gets the blame.
6:55. Sadat was assassinated.
7:01. Mubarak came to power.
7:06 Egypt changes their coat of arms and flag.
7:10. Egypt recognizes the State of Palestine (DON'T get ANY "Free Palestine" REPLIES PLEASE)!
7:16. Egypt apologized for the 1979 treaty to the Arab League.
7:23. Egypt took part in the Gulf War.
7:30. Egypt took 'claimed' land in North Sudan.
7:35. Egypt's economy became in complete shambles.
7:40. Mubarak suffered a coup d'tat.
7:44. Morsi came to power, but even he got suppressed by a coup.
7:48. El-Sisi became the new president.
7:51. Egypt along with others joined BRICS.

Additional dates:
2023. Egypt supported Ukraine in their war.
February 2024. Egypt threatened Israel by breaking the 1979 treaty if Israel invaded... you know what, I'm not gonna say the city name for my sake.
May 2024. Egypt cuts off power for 3 hours every day.
