So you spend 3 years doing an apprenticeship, you pass the online multiple choice exams and spend a day doing observed task to prove you know what you are doing. Surely that should be enough to be a qualified Tech. I fail to see what a discussion over the internet is going to make. It's total BS and does nothing but put extra stress on on the young apprentice.

PD SHOULD NOT DETERMINE IF YOU ARE A GOOD MECHANIC OR NOT IT SHOULD NOT BE BASED ON A SPEAKING EXAM ON A JOB THATS MORE PRACTICAL THAN ANYTHING, Students are stressing and failing over this stupid 1 to 1 test that is way to generalised its pathetic, i would love to know the pass rates?
