The Mt Marathon Race is a famous mountain race in Alaska. Every year for Fourth of July thousands of people gather in Seward for the big race.

Thanks for sharing your adventures. It sounds like there must be multiple trails you can take. You said that it took you 4 hours to climb up the mountain, so if we walked back down the same trail we should figure 8 hours round trip? Your dog Piglet is a cutie!
