it is always possible and it could even be more recent. Imagine if the axis of the earth was not tilted what the weather of Antarctica could be.

Considering where the continent was located during those 90 million years and further in the past, then it would make sense it once held lush forests..

I always thought that were knew that the Antarctic had a prehistoric jungle/forest. Was this just confirmation that scientist discovered?

From a paleontologist's perspective I find this rather entertaining. Mainly because it's well know outside of mainstream media that Antarctica was a thriving ecosystem before it was Ice locked. Various unique and specific dinosaur remains have been found to originate there such as Cryolophosaurs (Elvis Dino) for having one of most unique head crests of their species. Even madagascar has remains of pygmy dinosaurs that indicate a bigger diversity then what was originally thought even as recent as 10 years ago.

I think you’re on to something when you say “Antarctic Refrigerator.” There are geothermal vents situated closely underwater next to the icy continent, there are multiple myths and legends and that speak of a time when Antarctica wasn’t covered in ice, and there countless old maps that show Antarctica connected to the tip of South America. Hopefully, someday we will unlock the continent’s ancient mysteries.

When the earth was Tiamat, and the planetary collision still has not happened, the planet was in a different position and had a different rotation.

"What wonders are under the ice"? Was it once a paradise? Such a perfect place to believe in. Like the lost garden of Eden.

This is a very interesting thought, makes sense there would've been a thriving eco system at One time there, how else could have all those structures have been built, eh? Keep up the great work Michael 😎🔭🔭

How old is this planet? Lol. Time to also bring in the Poles magnetism data and plate tectonics from 65 million years ago. This planet has had a few civilization.

Marvel predicted this with the Savage Land! Crazy!

It's worth noting that the tectonic plates have moved over the surface of the planet, so it's not surprising that the poles would have been in another part of the world at some time or another. Great video thanks for sharing

I think it was ice free about 12.000 years ago do you remember the maps that were found showing that?
