First time I saw Willie was around 1975. The promoter would have concerts at this auditorium and leave the sides open to dance. Saw and danced to Waylon there as well.

It is amazing to see Willie still performing. I love his guitar and can you imagine the stories that guitar could tell. Lucas sounds alot like a young Willie. Willie's guitar is so old and still sounds so amazing. Willie still has it. I love to watch Willie play a guitar. Bless his heart and all the performers at Farm Aid. His son's are really good too. Just got back from driving 450 miles from Noblesville and watching this …….that’s how damn good Willie and the entire show was . Ruoff was sold out and packed . Lots of special guests not on the Show Bill including Bob Dylan, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, & Sturgill Simpson. Incredible day…..Willie was fantastic.

Willie sounded so good April last year when i saw him in Austin with George Strait, he sounded pretty decent earlier this year on his birthday, but this is worse than he was in 2019 before he got a covid break. he cant breathe at all but i respect him getting out there and performing. he struggles to talk and hes still singing in different cities 4-8 days out of the month, more than some artists half his age. he said he wants to die up there on that stage and i think its fitting.
