Sonic Superstars is one of Sonic’s memories, which The End took a look at with a bowl of popcorn in its hand every time Sonic passed through Cyber Space.

Ian Flynn personality believes that's not really the end.
It's just a piece of purple space rock that happens to look like the end.

He doesn't really have the authority to decide this though, considering he had nothing to do with superstars.
