My suggestion to get Georgia fans to cheer more and have better crowd noise is to (1) stop having slow starts on offense... be more explosive, especially against weaker opponents, (2) get more explosive deep threat plays that do not involve Beck under-throwing his balls so our receivers can catch the ball in stride without having to slow down or stop, (3) have more creative rushing schemes (add misdirection and disguised looks) using pre-snap motions and jet sweeps so that our RBs can punch through the line of scrimmage, (4) if the opposing team has big players who stack the box (like KY or Bama), tell Bobo to stop calling plays run up the middle through the A gap and design plays where RBs use jump cuts and go around. Lastly, stop playing good non-conf teams at neutral sites. If Clemson had played in Athens instead of in Atlanta, I guarantee you the crowd noise would have been deafening. Same for games with Florida. No offense to Jax but Athens would be better for home games. My 2 cents.

Where in this interview did Kirby “go off” ???? All he’s saying is that the fans CANNOT get complacent just like the players CANNOT get complacent!!! The damn media always trying to make things worse than they are!!! The SEC is tough as it is….the home environment needs to make it tougher…..every time we go on the road the fans are trying to make it tough on us. Let’s step it up as fans!!!

The description is overblown. It appears to either be click bait or some media is too thin skinned. Toughen up a little as Kirby in passing has a slight criticism which does appear correct! In no way does Kirby want to pick a fight with the fans, he simply wants a loud & consistently boisterous atmosphere at home to help the team win!

Maybe "jetlag" after Bama game, some empty seats after being hit by Helene rightfully so and slow starts contribute to a lack of enthusiasm. Fans gotta right to yell as loud or as little as they want based on what they see from coaches, players and what they pay for admission. I'm sure Sanford will get louder again soon.

Everything about college football now is rigged against the real fan. The prices are astronomical and Sanford stadium has become a maze of commercialization to where it's not even fun to be there in person. The corridors get so freaking crowded that's it hard to move around. I don't know what the Athletic Department is doing, but this ain't GA football anymore. It's NFL-lite.

Carson Beck is worse this year and he doesn’t seem to be getting better week to week!! The running game can’t get going because the O-line can’t open up holes! The defense gives up way too many yards and if they don’t get all this fixed before Texas it won’t be pretty!!
