He would be incredibly proud of you both and the way you have carried on - because you have to and you know that's what he would have done and would have wanted you to do. The fans need you in their lives - I need you in my life. Your songs are so beautifully written and so real - you feel the emotion when you sing because you have been through it. This song also reminds me of my husband who passed away in 2018 from cancer aged 47. He loved you too and always came to watch you with me many times.
