Dear American people, how can you choose someone like Trump after such a president.

"Poverty rate would be worse without foodstamps and headstart..." Little interesting fact. Poverty rate was dropping until welfare was introduced. Ever since then our poverty rate has pretty much remained the same.

We dont need Barry to tell us what wisdom is. Thanks Barry! I am optimistic than ever, not like you and your liberal haters.

A critique of cynicism is a critique of free speech. If one chooses to express pain and you refer to them as cynical you have simply cast them aside, stating they are worthless to your vision of the world. Fantasizing about tomorrow while avoiding the trials of today is complaceny, a concept that any true American should despise. Americans are not cynical; they simply demand more of their government than it has been willing to give them for the past several decades.

For instance, if you like to make decisions based on fact, he doesn't offer any facts here. Even without the civil rights act someone his background may have made it as far as he did. For his wife, it's more questionable. He says sometimes government programs fall short? It is their nature to fall short. The people in charge are industry leaders, like, they need to make roads, but they don't know much about roads. They need to make a budget, but they're all pampered rich people... sure they know how to take care of money and have it take care of them, to some extent, but they aren't CPA or some other interested party. Plus, it's other people's money and that money comes easily, thus it is much easier to take more and greater risks, and gasp, to give that money to incompetent friends and donors. I hope you can see why and find it impossible to challenge my logic that government programs inherently fall short. And that is without getting into unrealistic expectations... In this case, your realistic expectation has to be that the bigger the government the farther the program is going to fall short. This doesn't mean not to use the government, even for big things. So, Medicare, he says it's great. Okay, we could maybe improve it, right, by giving, even communities more control? I heard the special interests explode with rage. The bigger the government the more and more likely there is to be opportunity for corruption and there fore actual corruption itself. So, if you have a city as large as several states in population and wealth... there you go, much of what we see is clearly explained, and also appears as the simplest and most likely explanation. Occam's razor? You don't see little cities trying to keep this new cab service app out, right, only big ones with big money and licensing and political power, a union maybe... that's the deal.
