It's hard to tell which one is "actually" good or bad.

I remember the word "gay" being used with negative/bad connotations in the 90s and early 2000's. The only thing they achieve with their emphasis on calling things "gay"/ the gayest" [insert thing here] is reviving that trend.

They've spent the last 20 years getting rid of language like that and now they've circled right back into it. If they continue down this path, the next 20 years will consist of a repetition of the 90's and 2000's when a person who didn't like [insert thing here] thought it was "pretty gay".
