Using this to move across flat surfaces is great and works well for the average person. But going up or down the stairs with a heavy item only works if both people are fit and strong...and if the stairs are straight without any tight corners. The minute there's a tight corner, it's impossible to keep your arms straight, and so all the weight of the washing machine starts to fall upon you....and luckily there was no injury but it was a dangerous situation.

Step 1. Hire 2 people to do this. Preferably for a low wage

These are light items. Straps totally pointless.

You need 2 people... I just use a trolley by my self. This seems redundant.
