Rainbow Six: Siege Beta – PC Low vs. Medium High Ultra Graphics Comparison

We compare the graphics of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege on PC with low medium high and ultra graphics settings. A settings overview can be found at the end of the video. Please note that this is content from the closed beta. The game is still in development and graphical or optical features may be different from the release version. There is another option which is not compared: very high. The maximum graphics option would be ultra with HBAO+.

Wir vergleichen die Grafik von Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege auf dem PC mit niedrigen mittleren hohen und ultra Grafikeinstellungen. Eine Übersicht über die Einstellungen gibt es am Ende des Videos. Bitte beachtet, dass es sich hier um Inhalte aus der geschlossenen Beta handelt. Das Spiel wird noch entwickelt und grafische oder optische Features können sich von der Release-Version unterscheiden. It's the same graphics for all 4 settings. It is the special effects that give you the medium, high and Ultra settings. That's that kills your system. Bloom, HDR, Particles, MSAA, Soft Shadows, etc. Nice detailed video too. Very impressive. You're subbed mate!

Playing on low is a big advantage, there's less glare and u can see players easier

honestly medium looks the same as ultra and high the only real difference is low vs the rest of the settings so you mine as well run the game on medium and get a better frame rate and still have good looking graphics

Not until about 4 minutes in, at the outdoor courtyard, did I notice a notable difference between HIGH and ULTRA

Only thing is this is not the true ultra settings since the ultra Textures are locked out of the Beta version. And we are not sure if they will get really good looking since visuals wise it is a Beta after all. But they just just get slightly better

there is no point showing ultra at 1080p as it is 4k res textures, so you will not be able to tell it apart from high.

I'm glad some games have super low, low minimum requirements. then i can run it maxed out and beautiful, but others with slower pc's can still game with me and populate the servers. (playing multiplayer fps its easier to spot people without AA and on low settings) but still

TIP: Go from low to high.
it's much better as a selling point and that's what people are interested in seeing. if you start with the high end it's not as appealing when you get to the low.
It's basically 101 in sales

You should put "Beta" inside the title! It is still in an early state and the performance or even graphics will change!

there was a minor difference in shadows when comparing medium and high, else they both appear to be similar. ultra is pretty good but high or medium will do the job. low is absolutely horrible.

Seems like most aaa games are being built to run well on consoles. Since those sales are guaranteed bread and butter for the publishers. It would explain how most games these days are running ultra settings on graphics cards from 2 generations ago.
