How to Determine Correct Furnace Filter Direction

My only recommendation after returning to this atleast once a year: Blake, or whomever, should avoid using "airflow". That concept is precisely what's confusing. It's predicated on understanding how the systems work. If I knew that, I wouldn't be here in the first place haha. so saying "it should be pointed direction of airflow" is maddening even today now that I thoroughly understand.

Always point the arrows toward the heating/cooling unit

What if the arrow is gone or not printed. Like just looking at the face of the filter, how would you be able to tell.

4th video and still not the answer, My unit has the filter tray about 2 feet from the floor, no side area.
