Bro literally covered 2 years worth of my AP U.S. history curriculum in like 3 hours. Where was this when I took my APUSH exam? Lol
Happy Independence Day!

Exceptional recap of American history, hitting all major events with context.
Surprisingly detailed while not being mired in minutia.

This is a vid all American's should be required to watch, several times, in high school!

Given how dissatisfied the general public currently is with the government, it’s possible we could have a populist, somewhat isolationist “America First” period as the 8th age. Sort of a soft-reboot of the country.

Happy 4th everyone 🇺🇸

Just when I was wondering what to do with 3 and half hours of my life, here comes Z with a 4th of July present.

What If Eastern powers/Asian nations (China 🇨🇳, Japan 🇯🇵, Korea, Manchuria & Mongolia 🇲🇳) colonized Siberia instead (assuming Russia 🇷🇺 never annexed it and also hadn't conquered it)

I love the metaphor of the three trees, it really holds true through our whole history.

I must say as an Arab I am enjoying this, I always thought that the Thirteen colonies were always sort of united and I wasnt aware of any major differences nor did I really acknowledge them, but this gives me a whole new perspective.

It seems like America was flourishing better when we just focused on our country and wasn’t trying to better other nations. Call me selfish but I wish we returned to that minus the racism and inequalities. Our leaders seemed like they cared about improving the country and not trying to fill their pockets.

When I was in middle school we had to write a report on a president that got assigned to us via lottery. I got Millard Filmore lol

1:38:50 I have learned a lot from this video so far! One example is right here. I didn’t realize that Wilson won due to a split Republican base. I wonder how Roosevelt would have handled WW1.

Hearing about the presidents' lives puts important context in what motivated them and how the public thought of them.
