I gave up sugar for a few months and I couldn’t believe how much sheer energy I had— I also lost weight!! Now I am mindful of how much sugar is in the foods I eat and I eat accordingly.

I think the message here is "everything in moderation". I have a very healthy diet but still have an occasional cookie. I drink water, tea and celery water, but have my cup of coffee every morning at 5. I feel great and always strive to improve habits and diet, but I never stress about it. Good luck on your journey. And don't beat yourself up because you ate a cookie when you could have had an apple. :D

This is actually true I’ve stopped watching sad or angry movies . Yes I don’t like it when people enjoy being mean to me and laugh at me . That does not make you a nice person.

"Eat every 3 to 5 hrs"...but the latest fad is intermittent fasting & going without food for 16 hrs at a time....who to believe eh! Love Brightside tho... Thanks

Intermittent fasting is good, I find. Go about 17-18 hours without eating for like 2-3 days at a time. Give yourself a 5-6 hour eating window. It’s a little tough at first but man... the results will speak for themselves.
It also gives clarity and a great sense of well-being. I go through depression a bit and this certainly helps. Now, don’t STAY on a fast because I think it does the body good to shake things up alittle.
Make sure you get enough vitamins and minerals between meals. Not sure y I went off on this but to me... eating all day isn’t that great for ya. Maybe just me. 😉

#11 Carbs at lunch: I used to need a nap about a half hour after lunch. My error? I was eating too much carbohydrate. Go ahead, have a big lunch, but just try to cut the carbs in half. For example, rather than having 2 hotdogs in 2 buns, I put 2 hotdogs in one bun. (Genius, I know.) Avoid especially sweetened drinks. This goes for breakfast too (assuming you're one of those old-fashioned people that actually still has breakfast).
