I used to work for a beverage distribution company and know exactly what this is. When the tea is improperly sealed that goo starts to build up. It's absolutely foul and is really bad for you. Check your seals before you buy a drink

Corn syrup is used as sugaring set apart from artificial sugars, and clumps up when not shaken. Corn syrup is slimy and has a goo like substance.
Also, on the can it says to shake it before opening. I don’t think I know any other canned drinks that have this issue though

Make us 12 packs of canned unsweetened coffee...
People love cold coffee, especially if its easy access and affordable. We just want the caffeine with out the garbage and hassle.

As someone who can finish a Gallon of Arizona iced tea within an hour of buying it The sediment at the bottom is from chilling and are Tannins and other material from the process and or the tea is unrefrigerated upon opening (expires) the mold will grow and the sediment
