Something I learned a long time ago, if something is important to you, you take care of it by yourself. If the storage unit called and said the payment was due I would have paid the entire thing and then sued him or got the money before getting the storage unit or I would have taken out my things and put them in another unit. I would have never left my belongings up to someone like this.
