Veteran Lynx at Whittier / Hacienda Trail Heads

Riding the Veteran Lynx at one of our favorite trail spots in Whittier CA. Winter 2024. The Lynx continues to impress, however I did notice that when compared to the Patton, the Patton has that instant torque from a dead stop. The power kicks in on the Lynx at after 5mph or so.

Bro! I don’t know why I haven’t come across your videos yet but I’m all in! Question, how much you weigh? I know you’re on the 70lb Lynx and our riding styles are similar so curious. Have you bottomed it out and how does it work for you?

Henry, youtube says the video is in 30 fps, but it looked very laggy to me (same problem on Marty's videos) so I downloaded the video and checked it in MPC-HC by pausing the video and then advancing 1 frame at a time. It turns out every other frame is a copy of the previous frame, so in essence the video is 15 fps and that explains why it looks like a stop-motion video to my eyes. I suspect this is the same thing that happens to Marty's videos. I don't know if this is a problem with the camera, the export from the camera, the editing software or the export from the editing software, but probably worht looking into since videos with lots of movements looks really jarring at such low fps.
