I just embedded my calendar without making it public and it worked! Thought you and everyone else should know :) I just did everything described here, except I didn't make my calendar public first.

I spent the whole time having issues despite following this guide to the T, and all I was getting when I embedded the calendar was a picture of the link. However, what helped me was use the link below that says "embed code" instead of the public link. Just in case anyone has had the same issues! And thank you for the video!
