Leatherman Juice XE6 unboxing - I Found Something Interesting!!

I had 2 cs4, original and new model. Both just had snap/broken retaning spring while at rest, it just drop when I was about to use them. Now I got the xe6 on sale, I’m sure it will happen in due time again…I hope to get a better replacement when that time comes with their warranty repair/exchange program. Now I have WAVE, SURGE as CS4 replacement(replaced on warranty because no CS4 is available that time) and the XE6 on sale for 40 bucks😊

Mine are on the way! I'm going to open the CS4 and keep the XE6 for awhile. I may open it down the line. I'm pretty excited. It will be my first experience with the Juice series. I'm happy you brought up the date code. My stainless Super Tool 300 was made it two consecutive months. I noticed that last April when I purchased it. One handle is stamped 0221 and the other 0321. I like the diamond and crosscut file myself. I only use it for hygiene purposes, repairing chipped and filing fingernails in between cuttings. I think you'll like the Columbia blue, that's the color on my CS4 and the Moss like your XE6. Its a nice tool to carry on the holidays, special occasions and everyday light duty. As Michael Keaton said as Beetlejuice "Let's turn up the JUICE and see what shakes loose". 🤣

Did you fix the other leatherman that the springs fell out of? Just wondering cos mine has done the same...

I bought 1 of each. Not impressed with the quality control at all. Actually having them in hand, I see why they are discontinued. Heavy, small pliers, non locking, etc. Skelitool is far better.
