ESV Journaling Study Bible Review | After using it for a whole year... (Honest Review)

In this episode I review the new ESV Journaling Study Bible. This is the Bible that you need. I've been waiting for this Bible for a long time. The best of both world in one Bible. I can finally carry one Bible instead of 2 different bibles. After using it for a whole year, I talked about how it helped me. This is a perfect Bible for beginners and also for veterans.

I bought this bible after watching your first review on it last year and I love it. I also go the leather flap with strap. Wish Jesus' words were red... but I think it's a Crossway thing. The paper is ridiculously thing and the font does seems to be on the tiny side. But I have another bible so when reading gets to tight I jump onto that one. But all in all it's an awesome bible and I love it.

Good job on the review. You covered the important points without dragging it out. Crossway did a great job of taking the notes from the Student Bible and adding the margins for the journaling/note taking aspect for people. Like many people I started with a traditional Bible with thin margins and over time discovered that I was running out of space. Just a tip on the camera that is shooting the overhead shot of the Bible, put it into manual focus and that will keep it from trying to refocus on the hands.

I just bought this Bible to take with me on a month long trip away from home, didn’t wanna bring a huge chunky study Bible with me and a journaling Bible too so this was perfect to take with me! It’s not too big and serves two purposes in one! I got the two tone leather-like one and I’m loving it!! My only complaint would be that there is only one ribbon! I need at least two (one for OT and one for NT), but I know I can add some. I would love to see them make a journaling/study Bible in the NASB 95 or even the NLT!

I personally LOOOVE the ESV, and to have one of my own to hold would be a dream come true. If it's the Journaling Study Bible specifically I would love to have one!!! Your unboxing, review, and comparison on it was my absolute favorite video, and it still is to this day!!! I also want one because I don't have a study Bible, and I think that a study Bible is really what my Bible study needs, and also because I love the concept of portability and extra space that it comes with for notes, and I believe that note takers are world changers and history makers. BIBLE this is my dream Bible! I have an esv journaling only and I love it so much! I've journaled so much in it, I had to retire it because it's so chunky that the spine broke! But to have study notes too?! I didn't know this existed! Thank you for sharing it with us!

If you put Saddle soap on the leather it will darken it a bit but it will help protect it also. I just found your channel today and will say I will be watch more of it.

I had to order mine from eBay the exact same one and received it yesterday. Currently it is not available on Amazon or anywhere else. I am pleasantly surprised that it isn’t too heavy and unwieldy. IOW I won’t feel like I’m spraining my wrist when I pick it up.

I am curious to see how the notes differ. I’ve seen Daily Grace Co has a couple of these ESV Journaling Study Bibles and I really want a Bible I can dedicate to studying with and be able to write notes in as well, but I also don’t know how the notes compare and if I’d be missing out on too much if that makes sense.
