Residents say more lives are at risk because of delays in getting aid into Maiduguri following Tuesday's dam collapse.

Preparation for such disaster is usually poor due to mismanagement of allocation. NEMA, agency responsible for responding to disasters does not have equipments to carry out rescue operations despite having a huge allocation.
