Euroscola - 9 March 2017

"The European Union is our future -our Big Sister!- and we have to take care of it. We have to find for solutions and not for problems!" said a Euroscola participant to her fellow students, coming from all over Europe and gathered in the hemicycle on March 9th.

The 530 participants had the opportunity to ask their questions to the French MEP Nathalie Griesbeck​. Those ranged from the threats of robotics on employment to EU action in face of a breach of freedom of expression in a given EU Member State, and the future of EU-UK relations following the Brexit.

In the afternoon, the students having worked in groups submitted to the electronic vote their proposals on various EU issues, such as environment and renewable energy .
