Thank you for the video. Just bought a used Weber from an older guy who said he was pissed off cleaning the grill every time. He used it around 10 times. Grill looked like new and after using it four times myself I am 100% sure thet he even cleaned the chimney starter. That is typical german :-)

For stainless, barkeepers friend is safe. Also, if you want to remove old residue that won't scrub off, you can soak in a 50% or higher vinegar solution overnight

Metal scratchy pads will wear down the 'finish' on a chrome plated rack quite quickly. Only works well on solid stainless steel racks!!

Good video in terms of the dish soap, but I’ve been told you should *NEVER* use steel wool of any kind on grill grates, which looks exactly like what you’re using. 🤔

As a Brazilian living in The Netherlands, I truly appreciate your Dutch humour and jokes on yourself. For the cleaning part, as I have a masonry barbecue (mediterranean style) I only have to clean the grill itself and I've been using the steamer, soap and elbow grease. Bedankt voor de video!

The last time I took my Big Green Egg apart and cleaned it, I finished with a stout scraper & hammer gettin the very bottom of the kettle clean. It took me over an hour before I reassembled it and filled it with more lump Charcoal.

Late reply to your video.... i scrape the grill with a burger turner.. i sharpen these things Just like a knife after using it! And some acids are biodegradable and found in nature so there is a “chemical” way of cleaning that is not dangerous! Greetings from Groningen.. 👍🏻 (in English for the other viewers)
