I’m from Ukraine and I’ve worked on my English and accent, for the most part, on my own, but you can find out and trace my story by watching my videos. I’ve been studying American pronunciation for a long time, and I still do, and I guess I always will – because it’s not math. Learning a language, it’s a lifetime journey. I know exactly what it takes to become fluent and acquire an accent in a non-English speaking country, and I’ve never even been to one. And I’m sharing this information here – on my channel.

Friendly advice for anyone who is trying to learn English…🌎, make sure you understand the differences between English expressions that are universal vs English expressions that are only used in specific regions 🇨🇦🇺🇸🇬🇧🇦🇺. You should be able to easily distinguish between universal English and demographic English with time and experience listening to a variety of English media‼️👂📈

My dear Anna, I might disagree with you on that topic. In my country, we have cattle ferries, tamal fairs, ¨pejivaye¨ fairs, cheese fairs, and hunt houses everywhere, and when the Saint of the town is celebrated in all Latin America we have something called ¨turnos¨. All town turns into a festival with food, fun machines for kids, fireworks, processions with the images... Times when I lived in the US for more than 1 month, I did not observe in the whole state that I was that much fun. I hope someday you will visit us.
