Do you prime your canvas with oil before you begin? The canvas looked wet to me. Beautiful colours and I love you knife work.

Today as I was working on a painting i thought of how you paint with so much color. I was starting to get tight once again and then I told myself " don't paint blades of grass and little flower shapes. paint color, values and magic, paint a dream." I know I sound like a crazy person haha Anyway, I was happy with what came out on my canvas.
