I just got my leatherman mut a couple days ago, man this tool is mind blowing! I got the all black version super awesome, I also ordered some victorinox scissors they fit right in the bit holder and the carbide glass breaker bit, I got a victorinox swisscard lite, and took out the scissors and it fit in the long bit holder perfectly! Like it was made for it, so now I got scissors on board the Mut!

Carried my MUT for 7 years when I was a facility maintenance man. Never carried the molle pouch and bits, just holstered the tool in my coveralls. This tool saved me many trips back to the machine shop for tools.

Hey, awesome video. I had a question that I was hoping you could help me with. I purchased a leatherman surge and all the inner tools do not lock solid. They all have play, the screwdriver has the worst of it. It just wiggles back and forth, up and down when locked. Is this normal or are all the tools supposed to lock solid? Thanks

Do you store the Swiss army scissors in the bit holder on your MUT?

Leatherman MUT for the win! EDC mine everyday, the Eod version, for fact I really like the permanent pocket clip and I find myself using the punch tool for allot of tasks. The pushbar button that holds the long Leatherman bits gets hit sometimes in the pocket though, causing me to lose those long bits, so that's a downside. Other than that it's a perfect EDC mutlitool for me. I even added the glass breaker Leatherman bit to it's proprietary side slot as an added bonus. But your video took it to a whole other level as always! Great idea of putting the knipex pliers in the sheath, and where did you get that sharp Leatherman bit? That's such a good idea. Always enjoy your videos👍🏽

I'll not buy another Leatherman until they unfuck their sheath situation. Just bought a blackened Surge a month ago. I had been carrying a Wave for over 15 years...it was time to pass it down to my son. I had purchased the bit set and bit extender months ago and they kinda fit in the sheath with the Wave...After getting the Surge though, I quickly discovered that only one of the bit "clips" would fit into the sheath the Surge came in, so I ordered the x-tra large molle sheath from Leatherman, hoping the larger size would allow me to carry the tool and its accessories but I was disappointed when I got the new sheath and not only do the bit "clips" not both fit inside the sheath but the elastic bands on the side of the sheath do not hold the bit extender securely.

Leatherman...I know you people scope these videos and you need to get your crap together in the sheath department. If you sell the bit sets as a pair, then make a damn sheath that carries them.
