ExpressLRS - How to flash ACCST X9D & FrSky R9 system with it.

Express LRS is a low latency system firmware that is open source and give the user more real-time control over their quads. This video may be long but it is broken down into steps to specially help those who wish to update their 900MHz system by re-using the hardware of their 2019 R9M and the respectively long range FrSky receivers.

Time stamp and sequence of steps :
0:47 Four reasons why you must replace your R9 long range FrSky Firmware with Express LRS.

Step A : Update Radio with latest OpenTX Bootloader and FW

5:11 A1 : Download latest OpenTX SD card content

6:05 A2 : Create folder in computer to store the new SD card version
6:47 A3 : Download Latest OpenTx companion

7:14 A4 : Install OpenTX companion to Download FW bin file
10:19 A5 : Update Radio with latest OpenTX version
11:49 A6 : Flash latest bootloader into Radio
12:25 A7 : Flash latest Firmware (currently 2.3.11) into Radio

Step B : Collate and prepare the files in the SD card

13:01 B1 : Download from website the special OpenTX for ExpressLRS

14:23 B2 : Download from website the ELRS bootloader for R9M

15:11 B3 : Download ELRS configurator and install it.

18:54 B5 : Download the receiver's bootloader .frk file

19:35 B6 : Download the lua script for setting of ELRS parameters

20:58 B7 : Copy folder into SD card.

Step C : Flashing the Bootloader & Firmware into radio, module and receiver

21:12 C1 : Flash the special OpenTX Firmware to Radio
22:56 C2 : Clear the SDcard warning of wrong version
24:48 C3 : Flash R9M module with ELRS bootloader & Firmware
26:23 C4 : Flash the quad's receiver with the ELRS bootloader
32:02 C5 : Configure Betaflight settings
35:38 C6 : Soldering the receiver to the Flight Controller
38:36 C7 : Flashing ELRS firmware from the ELRS configurator
42:09 C8 : Verifying the Stick's input with Betaflight & telemetry
44:28 C9 : Changing the transmitter parameters via the Lua Script

46:23 Ready for a test flight

Very good video after watching a few online. Have you had any reason to redo this lately? None of the models match anymore in the current release for the TX so I'm not sure what to select for the Taranis X9D+...very lost and confused.

Hi, can you please do a video on setting up a Namimno elrs on a taranis x9d plus accst? I can't get elrs configurator to build the firmware but I did get the lua script to work but the joystick on the module doesn't work.
