Okay but a lot of people do have a deviated septum. 70-80% of the population is impacted!! I have a deviated septum, but my nose was broken which kind of “fixed” it but now it’s swollen forever 😭

As someone who had necessary surgery as a days-old newborn that affects me to this day (though I'm thankful I got it and lived), the fact that anyone would put themselves through any invasive surgical procedure willingly just for cosmetic reasons makes me BSOD. To be nodding out on a hospital table is scary, extreme, traumatising last-resort shit, or ought to be.
