Both tools look good. The size of the battery is very interesting, I have one that I left in disuse, because it devoured battery. Your videos are always very interesting.

Good review I have always found Parkside tools good value for money. I use a few of them myself they work fine for what am doing with them.👍

Thanks for looking at these. Would you think the Lidl caliper is worth having? I don’t need very fine accuracy. I plan on using on to check the diameter of golf grips.

Nice video, Benedict.
I have both Lidl items, they are cheap and nice to have (in lack of something better)
About the caliper - I found that sometimes it gives different readings on same measurement. My dad's old caliper (vernier caliper) was better in that regard.

I still don't know about the function of the metal wheel on the caliper. Can you shed a light ?

There is something fascinating about tools even if they are not devices you'd use personally.

I use the angle finder all the time I love it. In my old Victorian house nothing is at 45 or 90 degrees so this is a god send.

Thanks mate, I'll have a wee visit to Lidl this coming week. Actually I have one of these already but it really gobbles up the batteries - anyone have any idea why this might be? I mean, they can't be very hard on the juice, surely?

It’s amazing how inexpensive measuring tools have become since the discovery of Chinesium!!!

Digital vernier calipers are a must have - I would be lost without mine. I don't like the angle finder so much, the locking screw thing looks a bit tricky to lock without slightly changing the position. That said it could be useful for measuring an angle, I'd probably just use my analogue angle finder to then transfer that measurement to whatever I was cutting because it has a better locking screw thingy. As always, they're great value.
