Converting Between Moles, Atoms, and Molecules

preview_player
Показать описание
How many atoms in 5.5 moles? How many moles is 4.6 x 10^24 sulfur atoms? We'll solve problems like these, where we convert back and forth between moles and the number of atoms or molecules that we have. We'll be using both a common sense approach, and also a standard conversion factor method. We'll learn how to use a scientific calculation to do this math, and we'll see how to round our answers with scientific notation and significant figures.

Yet again, I'm paying a huge amount of tuition at school for a to turn to you and learn it for free and be able to pass the test. I hope somehow you are being "paid" and rewarded for your helpful, clear, work. You are so dedicated, setting it up so nicely and clearly and taking so much time for us, your students. Thank you.

Not even 2.5 minutes in and I already know more from watching this one video than what my Chemistry teacher could "teach" in 1 hour. Gotta love school, amirite?

hi tyler! it's 2024 and you still have the most helpful chemistry videos on the internet. I feel like I'm hanging out with a friend instead of learning about science concepts. thank you for making chemistry so accessible (and enjoyable). you are saving my life this semester.

Tyler, you are awesome. I'm in the military, have a new born and had the bright idea to take chemistry over an 8 week summer session. It's brutal and you are the one that saved me. In my opinion the smartest people in their field are those that can take something complex and put it in simplest terms, and you do that. It's surprising how many professors, while highly intelligent, are very inefficient in teaching. I will be donating to support you.

Yes. Explain it to me like I am dumb. No, seriously please do. Your videos are saving my GPA right now. For everyone that reads this, YOU ARE NOT DUMB. A lot of us learn differently and need a little extra time. I know I do when it is anything related to numbers. You got this and push through. You are not alone!

I would sell my house, my car, and give you my entire life savings just to have you as my chemistry instructor for 1 semester...

My first attempt on the quiz with this material earned me a proud 25%! My teacher offered me a retake after she graded it and saw I clearly did not understand the material. So I had till the next class with her to study, I came her watched all your videos on moles and such. I retook the quiz and got a 95%, thanks for your help!

Thanks so much for making this video. It is so frustrating when my teacher does not explain something in a way that I can understand and then gets mad at me for not knowing what to do. I appreciate the time you put into this video and your other videos.

1) To the guy in my Chemistry class who told me about your channel, may your days be fantastic, your grades high and opportunity abounds.
2) I have have watched maybe 6mins at this point and I know more than a lecture's worth of material for my exam.
3) I love you for creating content that is simple to follow, nothing over the top on how to do this and that, simplicity is key.
4) Be my chemistry professor please.
5) You deserve so so much for your work into these lessons.
