PM Modi To Inaugurate Defence-Expo, Launch Development Projects In Gujarat

The biggest ever Defence Expo will start from today, Tuesday, in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar. The important feature of the Defence Expo is that it will be exclusive for Indian companies. The expo is scheduled from October 18 to 22. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Defence Expo in Gandhinagar on Wednesday.

The 12th edition of the event has been organised on the theme ‘Path to Pride’.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh addressed the curtain raiser press conference in Gandhinagar on October 17. The Defence minister said that the Expo will “showcase the growing prowess of the domestic defence industry,” which is one of the major drivers of the nation’s resolve to achieve ‘Make in India, Make for the World’ as envisioned by the Prime Minister.
